In our last update, we had covered progress made in OUN initiative until the beginning of December 2010. गैरआवासीय नेपाली दिवसको पूर्व सन्ध्यामा नेपाल सरकार शिक्षा मन्त्रालय र गैरआवासीय नेपाली संघको संयुक्त तत्वाधानमा नेपालमा खुल्ला विश्व विद्यालयका विषयमा आज काठमाडौंमा एक वृहद अन्तरक्रिया कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न भयो ।

Kathmandu, October 7, 2010: Ministry of Education (MoE)  and Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) signed on a resolution to launch a collaborative venture, Initiative for Open University of Nepal, amidst a high level interation program held in Kathmandu today.

An interview on OUN Initiative with Dr. Pramod Dhakal by Solidarity Magazine

October 3, 2010, Kathmandu: Solidarity Magazine which specializes on the news and concerns of Diaspora Nepalese has published an interview with the Dr. Pramod Dhakal in its September-October Issue. Here is the text of the interview as published. (Although published in October, this interview was taken at the end of August, before signing Memorandum of Understanding with Athabasca University and Kathmandu Resolution with Ministry of Education.)
